The Red Devon Market, Café, Bar and Restaurant has become a farm-to-table destination in the Hudson Valley. The owners, Julia and Nigel Widdowson, believe that supporting local agriculture builds a healthier local economy while ensuring the freshest, most delicious food for their customers. And Chef Sara Lukasiewicz makes it all in house — from ketchup to croissants to pasta and pâté. Red Devon is in Bangall, a hamlet south of Stanfordville, at a site that many will remember as the former home of the James Cagney's Stage Stop Steakhouse. Transformed by a green rehab, it’s now a market/café serving breakfast, lunch, and delicious takeout food, a fabulous bar, and a lovely main dining room open for dinner. Outdoor dining on the beautiful terrace is available in the summer.
